History adjunct faculty position at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility available

The Marymount Manhattan College program at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in northern Westchester County seeks an immediate mid-semester replacement instructor for Hist 218, The Making of the Modern World, which examines the history of the twentieth century from a global perspective.  The course meets Wednesday evenings during Fall 2012 inside New York’s only maximum security prison for women (though a timing change may be possible for the right instructor).  Applicants must hold at least a master’s degree, and have teaching experience.  To apply, send a CV and cover letter to Program Director Aileen Baumgartner (abaumgartner@mmm.edu) as soon as possible for consideration.
