Job Summary

The Department of History at Brock University invites applications for a three-year position as Assistant Professor (Limited Term) working in European and digital history. National/topical fields are open. The appointment begins July 1, 2016.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a completed Ph.D., or be near completion, as well as evidence of research and teaching excellence. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at all levels of the program. Brock University is a comprehensive research institution with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.

Applicants must submit a letter of application accompanied by a curriculum vitae, a research plan, and evidence of successful university-level teaching. In addition, candidates must arrange for the submission of three letters of reference. Candidates may be contacted at a later date for additional materials.
