The History Dept at Queens College seeks:

• Adjunct faculty member for one section of Hist 190: Writing and History: The course introduces students to techniques and approaches in writing in the discipline. Enrollment is capped at 22. We have numerous sample syllabi, exercises, websites, and lessons to assist those teaching such a course for the first time. It will meet Tuesday-Thursday, 9:15-10:30 am.
• Grader for a large section of Hist 101, the first half of the modern European survey. Responsibilities include helping to proctor exams, and grading 2/3 of students’ midterms and finals. The course will meet Tuesday-Thursday, 1:40-2:55 pm.

Each position is available separately, but it would be ideal for us to find one person who could take both.
