William Paterson University seeks Visiting Assistant Professor in World History

William Paterson University is pleased to solicit applications for a one-year faculty position for the academic year 2015-2016. The appointment is at the rank of visiting assistant professor and requires doctorate or appropriate terminal degree in the field to teach courses in world history. Advanced ABD will be considered with appropriate teaching experience at the rank of instructor. Area of specialization within the field is open; however, preference will be given to candidates who have training in world history. Evidence of scholarly productivity and potential contributions to curriculum development, assessment, and innovative classroom activities, and college-level teaching experience required.

The position is subject to available funding. The academic year commences September 1, 2015.
