05-19 The Mentoring Future Faculty of Color (MFFC) End-of-Semester Session

You are invited to attend the Mentoring Future Faculty of Color “End-of-Semester Reflecting, Strategizing, and Celebrating Session” at the CUNY Graduate Center on Monday, May 19th (6:30-8:30pm, Rm 5414).

MFFC is an initiative developed by current graduate students of color and allies in various programs at the Graduate Center in recognition of the historic and ongoing impact of institutional racism. The goals of MFFC are multifaceted and include diversification of the student body and the academy more broadly; the illumination and address of institutional racism; and, especially, scholarly and professional mentorship to students in underrepresented communities at the Graduate Center and throughout the CUNY system and NY-metro area.

Come celebrate as we think (and drink and eat) together! We especially welcome new faces! Please RSVP to LBeckenstein@gc.cuny.edu. Here is the link to our facebook event for more details: m.facebook.com/events
