4/28 – The Challenges and Rewards of the Freelance Life

It has been estimated that 25-30% of all U.S. workers are freelancers, consultants, part-timers, on-call workers, term workers, temps., and independent contractors. These categories encompass artists, actors, writers, editors, IT professionals, website designers, adjunct faculty, and more. Attend this workshop to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of being an independent worker, whether you are freelance material, how to launch a freelance career, and the resources that could help you to succeed. This workshop, The Challenges and Rewards of the Freelance Life, will be delivered by a long time-freelancer who has had over 50 jobs during the course of his career.
