The History Department at Manhattan College (4513 Manhattan College Parkway, Riverdale, NY) needs an adjunct for a section of the U.S. history survey to 1876 that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:05-5:30 p.m.  The section is capped at 30 and will likely have about 15 students.  The course description follows:

HIST 206. United States through 1876.  3 Credits.

The United States, from its origins through the Civil War and Reconstruction, with an emphasis on the main political, economic, and social developments. Major wars and cultural trends will also be addressed, as well as the lives of important and representative individuals.
