After a successful first meeting of the reinvigorated American studies student group, we are doing another round of outreach in order to establish an (ideally, interdisciplinary) intellectual community.

Planned activities include workshopping abstracts for the annual conference of the American Studies Association, reading from American Quarterly, and regularly sharing student writing.

If you would like to get involved with the group, please add your name to this Google spreadsheet. Names will be added to a listserv. We also ask that you join the CUNY Academic Commons so that we can invite you to the page for the group.

A Doodle poll will be circulated to plan our next meeting (the week of 9/30).
