American Studies @ SUNY Old Westbury Seeks a Media Studies Adjunct for Fall 2014

The American Studies/Media & Communications department at SUNY College at Old Westbury seeks to an adjunct instructor who will teach two undergraduate courses in the fall semester (Sep 02, 2014 – Dec 20, 2014):
AS 3632 – History of U.S. Film – Tues. & Thurs. 2:50 pm – 4:30 pm
AS 3852 – Women & Media – Tues. & Thurs. 4:40 pm – 6:20 pm

Qualifications:
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should be currently enrolled in, or have completed a master’s, doctoral or terminal degree program. Post-secondary teaching experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: An MA or MFA, doctorate or ABD in the final stages of dissertation completion and teaching experience in History, American Studies, Media Studies, Women’s Studies, or a related field preferred.
