Graduate Student Working Group: American Jewish History

We invite you to join us in forming a new forum for doctoral students of American Jewish history. “American” here is broadly conceived as the American continent, Atlantic world, and transnational connections to the continent.

Participants will come together to learn from each other, share work, and grow and develop as writers, thinkers, educators, scholars and practitioners of American Jewish history.

We envision a space that will facilitate intra-disciplinary exchange across the expanse of American Jewish history; a venue for peer editing (dissertation chapters or other writing), discussion, and professional development for doctoral students at various stages of their doctoral education.

Our first informal meeting will take place at the American Jewish Historical Society at the Center for Jewish History in January or February.

To express your interest and availability please fill out the form by December 31, 2018.
