Riverdale Country School, an independent K – 12 school in the Bronx, is seeking engaged history educators as substitute teachers for its Middle and Upper School History Department. Our students are curious, engaged, and think critically. Substitute teaching can be an excellent means to explore secondary education, build time in the classroom with students, and meet other educators who think deeply about pedagogy. Substitute teachers are compensated between $75 – $185/day depending on the number of classes covered.
