The Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa [asmeascholars.org] (ASMEA) is offering the following Grant Opportunities in conjunction with the Tenth Annual ASMEA Conference [asmea.nonprofitcms.org] on October 19 – 21, 2017 in Washington, D.C.

The ASMEA Research Grant[asmea.nonprofitcms.org] program seeks to support research on topics in Middle Eastern and African studies that deserve greater attention. Separately, ASMEA offers Conference Travel Grants[asmea.nonprofitcms.org] of up to $750 to assist members whose paper proposals have been accepted for presentation at the Annual Conference.

Applicants can apply for both grants but will only be awarded one. The application deadline for both grants is March 31, 2017.
