University of Southern California is seeking four tenure track assistant professors

The History Department of the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, is seeking to hire four tenure track assistant professors of United States history. The History department welcomes applications from scholars whose work examines any aspect of the history of the United States across all periods. Fields and periods of particular interest include the history of slavery; the Civil War and Reconstruction; African America; Native America; the West; gender and sexuality; borderlands; the U.S. and the world.

A Ph.D. in relevant field of study is required at time of appointment.
