urgent survey request from our union, the PSC

CUNY is laying off thousands of employees and providing us with only the sketchiest picture of who is being affected. Therefore, we are compelled, as your union representatives, to track this disaster ourselves.
No matter what category you fall into – adjunct, graduate assistant, unfunded doctoral student, HEO, college assistant, full-time faculty – we strongly encourage you to complete this survey so we can continue the vital work of resisting layoffs, budget cuts, and mid-pandemic attacks on health insurance within our PSC chapter. We follow up with respondents and members in direct, one-on-one conversations every Monday at 5 p.m. If you would like to join these weekly calling sessions, please let us know, here (check the “basebuilding” box – and/or any other working groups that interest you).
We also encourage you to complete this PSC-wide survey, especially if your employment or healthcare situation has deteriorated in recent weeks and months.
In solidarity,
Lynne Turner, PSC-GC Chapter Chair
Harry Blain PSC-GC Chapter Vice-Chair
