Seminar on CUNY Graduate Students Seeking Grants & Proposal Development

Overview:
Federal sponsors and other organizations across all sectors provide support to graduate students for their research, education, and training. This webinar will cover details on applying for some of these largest programs to help master’s and doctoral degree students and recipients navigate the funding landscape for these grant opportunities. These include the National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health programs such as the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) and the Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grants (DDRIG), and the NIH Predoctoral Fellowship Program. The webinar will also cover the AAAS Technology Policy Fellowships, and graduate support from IBM corp., the Russell Sage Foundation, the Soros Foundation, the Spencer Foundation, the Woodrow Wilson Center, the Social Sciences Research Council, and the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science.
