Sept. 8th- GC American Studies Student Group- First Meeting
Please join us for the first meeting of the reinvigorated American studies student group on Monday, September 8 at 2 pm in rm 5409.
Students from all departments are welcome. In fact, one agenda item may include finding a student group co-chair from a department other than English. For more information about the group, see its constitution.
At this meeting we hope to brainstorm what the American studies student group will do during the upcoming year. Some possibilities include inviting speakers, a reading group, professionalization workshops, exchanging papers, and co-sponsoring events. Come with some thoughts on what you’d like to see.
