10/2 – 3rd Annual Satadru Sen Memorial Lecture

Satadru Sen Memorial Lectures, usually held on Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday as part of commemorations for the day, are an annual series organized by Professor Dilip Menon of the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, to promote studies in history. The year 2021 is having two such lectures (the 2nd lecture by Pratap Bhanu Mehta was held on April 14, 2021, on Ambedkar’s birthday) as none could be arranged for 2020 due to disruptions caused by Covid 19.

The Third Satadru Sen Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Professor Kama Maclean of Heidelberg University on October 2, 2021, a Saturday, at  4.30 pm, SAST (South Africa Standard Time).This translates to:

*7:30 AM, Pacific Time, 9:30 AM, Central Time and 10:30 AM, Eastern Time in the USA,

*8 PM in India,

*3:30 PM in the UK, and

*4:30 PM, CET (Central European Time).
