The Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies (CLACLS) presents: “60 Years After the Coup: A History of the Brazilian Communist Party.” Historian Jean Rodrigues Sales (Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro), author of a book about the topic, is the speaker. NYU History Professor Barbara Weinstein will be the commentator.
