2024-25 Fellowships at the New-York Historical Society

New-York Historical’s prestigious fellowship program is now accepting applications for predoctoral and postdoctoral positions in the Center for Women’s History during the 2024–2025 academic year. Leveraging rich collections that detail American history through the lens of New York City, New-York Historical’s fellows are provided with the resources and community to develop new research and publications that illuminate complex issues of the past. In the Center for Women’s History, fellows contribute to advancing and illuminating the stories of women and LGBTQ+ individuals in the past and present.

One of America’s preeminent cultural institutions, the New-York Historical Society was founded in 1804 and holds a distinguished collection of books, manuscripts, graphic materials, decorative objects, historical artifacts, and works of art.
