5/20 – PSC’s Protest Outside the CUNY Trustees Meeting

Stand with your fellow CUNY workers to defend your jobs, protect your rights, demand fair raises and improve the terms and conditions of our work.  Join the PSC’s Protest Outside the CUNY Trustees Meeting this Monday, May 20th at 4 PM. The Board of Trustees, seeking to once again avoid accountability to our university community, has announced a last-minute change of location.

The action was scheduled for CUNY’s Midtown central office, but will now be held at Bronx Community College (BCC)
Playhouse Theatre, Roscoe Brown Performing Arts Building
2155 University Avenue, Bronx NY (Map | Directions)

Instead of an outdoor protest, as planned for Midtown, we will all go through security into the theater and confront the Board in the Bronx. Come ready to hold the Board of Trustees accountable for the anti-worker demands that CUNY has put across the table.

Curious to know more? We’re holding an emergency Zoom meeting Sunday at 6:30 PM to go over the new plan in detail. Here is the Zoom meeting link. WE DO NOT PLAN TO RISK ARREST at the Board of Trustees meeting, but there is important information that we will share during the Zoom.
