Adjunct Teaching Position at Yeshiva University for the Fall

The Department of History at Yeshiva University seeks an adjunct instructor for the fall semester 2025 to teach the first half of their Western Civ survey (antiquity through the Reformation). Ideally, the instructor would teach two sections—one at the Stern College for Women in Midtown, the other at Yeshiva College for Men in Washington Heights—but candidates preferring to teach at only one of the colleges are also invited to apply. The section at Stern meets from 9 am to 10:15 on M/W; the one at YC from 3:00 pm to 4:15 on the same days. The current enrollment at Stern is 10; at YC 15. Please send your letters of interest and CV to the department chair, Jeffrey Freedman, Freedman@yu.edu
