Istanbul Through the Ages
Understanding Istanbul from pre-history to present…
Date: July 3 – 21, 2017
Koç University’s intensive, multi-disciplinary, 3-week graduate summer school Istanbul though the Ages will take place at the Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, from 03 July to 21 July 2017. The course provides a unique opportunity to learn about the history, urban development, and historic monuments of the city of Byzantion/Constantinople/Istanbul. The program is open to Turkish and International MA and Phd students of archaeology, history, art history, architectural history, heritage studies and other fields in humanities.

Ottoman Summer Program
Date: July 3rd – August 11th 2017
Koç University’s intensive Ottoman Summer Program will take place at the Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) in Beyoğlu, Istanbul from July 3rd till August 11th. The program is designed to develop the students’ reading and comprehension skills and expertise on a variety of Ottoman sources including archival documents, manuscripts, and epigraphic material. The course is open to students enrolled in MA and Ph.D. programs and have had Ottoman instruction at least for half an academic year.

Ancient Languages of Anatolia
Date: July 24–August 18, 2017
Koç University invites you to take part in an intensive summer program to take place at the Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) in Istanbul. Ancient Languages of Anatolia offers a comprehensive introduction to the Hittite and Akkadian languages, and the cuneiform script in which they were recorded.
