Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA)

The Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA) is offering grant opportunities in conjunction with its Fifteenth Annual Conference taking place in Washington, D.C. on November 5 – 7, 2022.

  • Research Grant – Grants of up to $2500 will be awarded to support topics in Middle East and African Studies that deserve greater attention (Deadline April 15).
  • Travel Grant – Grants of up to $750 will be awarded to assist in the costs associated with attending the Annual Conference (Deadline April 15).

In addition, we have issued our general Call for Papers and Panels and Call for Undergraduate Poster Proposals (Deadlines May 1).
