Job Title:                              Adjunct Lecturer – History

The Department of History at the College of Staten Island is seeking to hire a qualified adjunct for the following fall 2024 semester course (cross-listed with African and African Diaspora Studies):

• HST/AAD 262: African American History: 1619 to 1865 (Mon. 6:30pm-9:50pm) in person or online

Classes for the fall 2024 semester begin on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and continue until Saturday, December 21.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in a related field and prior teaching experience is preferred.

 

COMPENSATION

Salary commensurate with education and experience.
