Editing Assistant for Nonfiction Author
Conservationist and nonfiction author Miriam Horn (also a former Leon Levy Center for Biography fellow) is looking for a graduate student to assist in some final editing of her biography of the naturalist George B. Schaller (forthcoming with Penguin Press). The primary task of this job is to determine and enter key phrases from the text into the endnotes in order to create blind endnotes. You do not need to have previous experience with copyediting or creating blind endnotes. They are looking for someone with strong reading and writing skills who can pay close attention to detail in citation formatting.

- Short term: 5-10 hours/per week over the next 2-3 weeks
