Need writing advice and support, but on your own schedule? The Writing Center is beginning to post video content on its website. Check out our weekly additions to Writing Center Chat, a series in which our writing consultants share tips on various writing-related issues. In the segment on break-taking ideas, you can even learn how the right power tool can help you with your writing process!

The Writing Center remains committed to combatting the isolation we’ve all been forced into. If you’re feeling cooped up and miss the company of others, consider participating in one of our Remote Companionable Writing sessions, which use Zoom to let people work quietly in the company of others. It feels a lot like working in a coffee shop! We also host Writing Kvetch Happy Hour every Thursday from 5-6. This is a great chance to connect with people over the unique challenges of writing and working from home in this age of social isolation.

Finally, we continue to offer remote one-on-one consultations. We can help you with writing that’s at any stage of the process, from the earliest brainstorming to final revisions, from abstracts and conference papers to grant proposals and dissertation chapters. Make an appointment today!
