“I Stand with DREAMers,” Speak Out and Resource Fair
We invite you to join us today to stand with CUNY DREAMers from across our city as we hit a critical deadline for DACA recipients.
After President Trump announced plans to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, Mayor de Blasio and the City of New York have moved to swiftly connect NYC Dreamers with the help and resources they need. Tomorrow, Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) and CUNY DREAMers, a student organization working with undocumented CUNY students, are hosting a “I Stand with DREAMers” Speak Out and resource fair event, where Dreamers will share their stories, and be connected to resources like mental health, IDNYC and legal support.
Representatives from the City will be joining to deliver opening remarks and to host information tables.
