Internship available at the Center for Astrophysics’ John G. Wolbach Library
The Center for Astrophysics’ John G. Wolbach Library (at Harvard) is proud to announce the creation of a six month paid internship for graduate students via an Advancing Open Knowledge Grant. The Figures in the Sky Initiative is an endeavor by the Wolbach Library to elevate the voices of Black and Indigenous peoples and their astronomical heritage in order to “normalize” their inclusion and undercut white supremacy in astronomy
The selected applicant will be a graduate student or early professional in a field closely related to the History of Science, anthropology, or sociology- preferably with special experience in astronomy, indigenous studies, early american history, environmental studies, or pre-colonial history.
