Loyola University Chicago Interdisciplinary Honors Lecturer Opening

 

The Interdisciplinary Honors Program in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago seeks qualified candidates for an appointment as Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Humanities beginning Fall 2025. This position is full-time and carries a 4/4 teaching load. They seek candidates who will enlarge and diversify the expertise represented by their multi-disciplinary faculty. Thus, they are open to considering researchers from many fields, including, for example, African Diaspora Studies, The History and Philosophy of Science, Bioethics, or Women and Gender Studies.

The successful candidate will teach our Fall and Spring Freshman courses, which cover texts and artifacts from antiquity to the present, and represent several fields, including literature, theology, philosophy, and art history.
