March with the PSC in the NYC Labor Day Parade, Sat., Sept. 7

This year’s NYC Labor Day parade will be Saturday, September 7.

“Building Worker Power Together” is the parade slogan and the mission of the labor movement. It is also the commitment that we make to each other as members of the Professional Staff Congress.

I invite you to march with the PSC alongside our partners in the labor movement as we continue to organize and fight for a fair contract, for full funding for CUNY, and for a more just society. Email dbrill@pscmail.org to let us know you’ll be there with us. And bring your family and friends. The parade is a show of strength and solidarity, but it is also a celebration. The more the merrier!

The staging area for PSC members and other education unions will be on 44th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. We are scheduled to begin marching at 10:15 AM. Please arrive by 10:00 AM. Look for the PSC’s red and white “Union Proud” signs, and wear your favorite union hat, t-shirt or button.

In Solidarity,

Sharon Persinger
