A Conversation with the Center for Black, Brown, and Queer Studies

Tuesday May 10th, 4pm-5pm

https://gc-cuny.libcal.com/event/9120675

Join us for a discussion of the work of The Center for Black, Brown, and Queer Studies with Caitlin Gunn (Pedagogy Lab Director), and Sarah Clinton-McCausland (Instructional Design Librarian).

The Center for Black, Brown, and Queer Studies (BBQ+) is an independent center founded in 2019, started as an initiative based out of the Harvard Divinity School’s Science, Religion and Culture program. Their Pedagogy Lab supports open access scholarship, Open Educational Resources, and curriculum for Black, Indigenous, Ethnic, and Area Studies – we’ll talk about how these areas intersect, and the future of open resources within these subject areas. This event is generously supported by a Doctoral Enhancement for the Curriculum Grant through The Publics Lab, funded by the Mellon Foundation.
