The Graduate Center History Department hosts author Gabriel Ferreira Zacarias, Lecturer at the History Department of the State University of Campinas (Brazil) and a researcher of FAPESP – São Paulo Research Fund. His most recent book “No espelho do terror” (“The Mirror of Terror: Jihad and Spectacle”) approaches terrorism as a phenomenon of the society of the spectacle.
