The Graduate Center’s Leon Levy Center for Biography has created a part-time consulting position paying $1000 per month on a month-to-month basis and requiring about 8 hours per week. Most of this work can be done remotely.

The duties for this position consist of the following:

​—Payment of honoraria to speakers and fellowship judges using Adobe software, which entails distributing payment forms via email and being in email correspondence with speakers and fellowship judges

​—Payment of invoices to outside vendors such as journals and graphic designers, including distributing payment forms via email to vendors and being in email correspondence with them

—Occasional research for Leon Levy Fellows

—Help in setting up and monitoring in-person events, including working with the IT Department employees to be sure the technology is working well, and in having event posters designed and posted

—Maintaining the Kitty Kelley library

Only open to students in the GC PhD Program in History and the M.A. Program in Biography and Memoir
