For those of you who are teaching undergraduates:  please check out New-York Historical Society’s incredible exhibit on “Chinese-Americans, Inclusion and Exclusion.”   It tells a remarkable story that is so often left out of our surveys about Chinese exclusion act of 1882, Asian immigration in general, and citizenship restrictions.    The exhibit will be open through April 19.   There is a pay as you wish policy on Friday afternoons and evenings.   http://www.nyhistory.org/exhibitions/chineseamerican.
