Register Early for GCDI’s Python Summer Intensive

Python Summer Intensive

Students and faculty across a broad range of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences are making use of the programming language Python to extend or to improve their research. From creating applications to performing data analysis to developing visualizations, Python can help, and it’s also a comparatively approachable language to learn.

This summer, GC Digital Initiatives is offering an 8-week Python Intensive. Taught by GC Digital Fellow Greg Hartmann, this intensive will cover Python from the fundamentals all the way to skills like data visualization. Because they will move quickly through the basics, preference is given to those with some programming knowledge, but prior experience is not strictly required.

The Summer Python Intensive will rely heavily on participants’ regular attendance, willingness to complete assignments, and accountability to one another for full engagement.

Spots are limited so register today! (https://forms.gle/nodCEb7bA4habqj77).
