Intersectional Feminist Approaches to Gender and Sexuality in US History
We invite applications from scholars with a teaching and research concentration in historical analysis of gender and sexuality in the US with a preferred focus on the experiences of LGBTQ+ people and communities. Areas of expertise may include, but are not limited to: major turning points in US intersectional women’s/feminist history, queer of color critique, queer theory, transgender studies, immigration, transborder studies, and Native American/indigenous studies. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Women’s Studies or a related field. A minimum of a graduate concentration in Women’s/Gender/Sexuality/Feminist Studies, or a significant track record of research and teaching in Women’s/Gender/Sexuality/Feminist Studies, is required.
