I’m an associate professor at Syracuse University seeking someone based in NYC to help me with some short-term archival research. The subject is the political lobbying of police organizations. The materials are based at the Municipal Archives in lower Manhattan. The work would consist of going to the archive and exploring various boxes/files I’ve identified to see what relevant material might be there, taking some quick notes, and taking photographs. This would probably only take 5-10 hours to start, but could be more depending on what other materials turn out to exist. Pay is $25 per hour.
