Skylight room (rm 9100), CUNY Graduate Center
Presented by the Office of Career Planning and Professional Development

Is networking a challenge for you?  Do you know you need to do it, but dread it?  Join us for a conversation with three professionals who really made the most of their networks to help them make a big transition–from graduate degrees in the humanities to the business world.  They’ll offer advice and suggestions for mobilizing your network to help you move forward in your job search.

Speakers will include:

  • Adam Jackson, Director of Content Partnerships at Seeking Alpha
  • Geoffrey Mac Adam, Marketing & Sales Senior Manager at PwC
  • Eleni Manis, Research Assistant to the Nassau County Comptroller
  • Peter Taback (moderator), Chief Communications Officer, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health
This event is co-sponsored with NYC VersatilePhD, a group dedicated to providing networking opportunities for anyone who is pursuing or has completed a PhD program or advanced degree in the humanities and social sciences (the groups also welcomes people in the sciences who are exploring non-technical careers).

Snacks will be served.
