Vera Institute for Justice Summer Fellowship

This fellowship opportunity offered by Vera and the CUNY Graduate Center is open to all Graduate Center Ph.D. students with primary research interests in criminal legal or immigration justice and the work of the Vera Institute. Fellowship recipients will receive $4,000 for 120 hours in residence over the summer of 2024.

Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Applied Justice Research (AJR)

The AJR fellowship is open to students enrolled in Ph.D. programs across the CUNY network. Fellows will be embedded in a Vera research team for the 2024-25 academic year. They will participate in applied research, and potentially test new ideas and research approaches to Vera’s existing work. Paid fellowship recipients will be based at Vera’s New York offices between early September and late May.
