2017 ETS Seeks Assessment Development Intern

Job Description
The Assessment Development Division of Educational Testing Service is seeking summer interns with excellent reading, writing, and critical thinking skills and a sense of the interests and abilities of high school students. Successful candidates will work with ETS test development staff to develop interesting and challenging materials for the SAT Reading test.

The eight-week program will begin June 5th and end July 28th. Summer employees will work 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, at the ETS campus in Princeton, NJ. Please note that housing and transportation are not provided.

Candidates should submit a short (no more than one-page) sample text that they believe would be suitable for testing critical thinking and reading skills. The sample should not be a self-generated piece of writing but rather an excerpt from a published fiction, science, or social science source. It should exemplify writing that the candidate believes would be rich, challenging, and engaging for college-bound high school students. The sample should be included with a CV or resume. Please include a citation of the source.

Experience and Skills
Candidates should be college graduates who have completed at least one year of graduate study.
