The GC Digital Fellows work with Graduate Center faculty members on digital scholarly projects, design websites for special initiatives, facilitate skills training workshops, and, more broadly, explore new ways for Graduate Center faculty, students, and staff to share their academic work through new technological platforms and social media tools.

The Social Media And Academia: Creating Digital Research Communities workshop will introduce various aspects of social media as solutions or initiatives for creating communities around research.  We’ll explore how to use the CUNY Commons, WordPress, and Twitter to find and create online research communities across CUNY and other universities.  The workshop will be hosted by Andrew G. McKinney and Laura Kane.
