3/23 – Refugee Resettlement: Finding a Home in Rochester, NY

The story of Afghan resettlement can be told from many perspectives: the refugees who seek to flee; the aid workers who situate them; the volunteers who help the newcomers take root in the community. Featuring Nabila Qadiri, Enayatullah Mosawi, Obaida Omar, Ellen Smith, and David Silver, this panel gives voice to multiple stakeholders in local resettlement and probes the challenges to, as well as successes of, these efforts. Chair: Center Director, Debórah Dwork
