This workshop is aimed at expanding the ways that videos are used in classrooms. It will showcase Open Educational Resources (OER) for assignments in which students can comment on videos and create short audiovisual essays in response to class topics.

This workshop will explore user-friendly software (both online and offline) that can be used in courses across the disciplines. Attendees will learn the basic functions of programs that are designed to annotate video and edit films, combining audio and images from different sources. These are versatile technologies that offer a range of options for virtual, in-person, and hybrid courses.
