When curricula are being challenged and specific topics forbidden, when tenure protections are coming under scrutiny, and “free speech” is feeling a little chilled, how might we navigate the job market? How do we decide on fit, especially given the limited opportunities of the tight market? How much might this impact the way we teach and build community?
Join Peer Mentors in welcoming history department alum for a panel discussion around these issues on Friday, March 29 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm. Let us all learn from the experiences of Drs. David Houpt (2015), Seçil Yilmaz (2016), Chris Rominger (2018), and Erik Wallenberg (2023).
