3/8- Frances Moore Lappé In Conversation With John Torpey

Legendary writer and activist Frances Moore Lappé revolutionized our thinking about food and politics with her bestselling and influential book, Diet for a Small Planet. With her more recent book, Daring Democracy: Igniting Power Meaning and Connection for the America We Want (co-authored with Adam Eichen), she continued bringing progressive ideas to the fore. In this conversation with John Torpey, director of the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies, Lappé discusses her thoughts on creating a living democracy and how everyday people can reverse democracy’s decline.
