Sometimes referred to as the “gay district,” District 3 in New York City Council has been represented by four consecutive gay council members since 1992. Encompassing Chelsea, the West Village, and Hell’s Kitchen, District 3 is a hub of LGBTQ politics and culture in America. Please join for a conversation about historical and contemporary LGBTQ issues in the area with the four District 3 council members.
