5/23 – Open Knowledge Fellowship

Join us for a lively Info Session on 5/23 at 4:00pm, featuring lighting talk-style presentations from former Open Knowledge Fellowship participants and CUNY faculty. We’ll be meeting in the 9th Floor Conference Rooms, 9205/9206. Refreshments will be served – we encourage you to RSVP here!

Since 2019, the Open Knowledge Fellowship has provided hands-on training for GC students seeking to teach with openly-licensed resources (OER) in their classes across CUNY.

We’re excited to share with you the opportunity to learn more about this program – how to get involved, pitch your own unique OER projects, and think creatively about open-licensing.

Eligibility:

The Summer 2023 Fellowship is open to Graduate Center doctoral OR Master’s students from any discipline who will be teaching at CUNY in Fall 2023. Participants must become fully enrolled for the Fall 2023 semester to receive the stipend (distributed in the Fall). Full enrollment for doctoral students is 7 credits or weighed instructions units (WIUs), and credits for Master’s students.

Applications will open soon for the Summer cohort – we strongly encourage you to attend this Info Session to learn more about how to strengthen your application. If you have any questions, please email: library@gc.cuny.edu
