This workshop is purposed as Part II of providing a safe, open space for Black-identified CUNY Graduate Center students to reflect, vent, process and discuss graduate training during intensified anti-Black racism. This workshop will be formatted as a guided discussion facilitated by Dr. Desiree Byrd, Clinical Psychologist and CUNY Professor​. Join us to continue to explore:

Building villages within and beyond the GC

Deciding on the rules of engagement

Balancing program requirements with prolonged emotional labor
