The ITP Certificate Program is offering a skills lab below this this Friday. Our sessions offer participants hands-on training in how to implement digital technologies and tools in their teaching and research.

How to Make Blackboard Work For You

Friday August 26th @ 12-1:30pm

C 201 Graduate Center (Concourse level)

Facilitator: Sakina Laksimi

If you have to use Blackboard, join us for a working session to learn how to make it work for you and your students. There are a lot of reasons to resist using the CUNY Learning Management System everyone loves to hate, but there may also be good reasons to go with the flow: pandemic pedagogy familiarized your students with using Blackboard to access content, engage in discussion, submit assignments and more. This hands-on session will demonstrate ways to organize your content and assessments on Blackboard, with a particular emphasis on accessibility standards and Open Educational Resources (OERs). Please bring your own laptops to dig into setting up your own course.

Please register for the event. Limited space available.
