9/21 – “Career-Defining, part 1: Identifying professional opportunities for History PhD’s”

Current students in the PhD Program in History are invited to “Career-Defining, part 1: Identifying professional opportunities for History PhD’s,” facilitated by Jenny Furlong (Director of Career Planning at the Graduate Center). This  workshop follows on last semester’s roundtable of History alums who went into careers outside academia.

Tuesday, Sept 21, 4:00-5:30 – in person in the History lounge (5114), and shared via Zoom. Please RSVP at History@gc.cuny.edu and indicate whether you intend to be in person or remote.

Be on the lookout later for a second workshop, “Career-Defining, part 2: Applying and self-presenting for jobs”, which will take place on Tues, Oct 19, also at 4pm.
